I like to take the "traditional" literature that students are required to learn in class and relate it to modern texts that these same students might find more relevant to their actual everyday lives. I also love fantasy and fairy tales and showing how these "magical" stories can also be relevant to a student's lives. I also like lesson plans that have both English and History together.

I graduated with my Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2010 and my bachelor in English and Writing in 2009. I enjoy writing lesson plans and my teacher actually suggested I start this store when she read my lesson plan on Cinderella.
I live in Oregon and love reading and writing. That is part of the reason I started teaching, to share that love with the students. I have always been a fan of fairy tales and fantasy novels and have decided to center my store around how these novels can be taught in the classroom. I am also including lessons that can be a joint effort between English and history and plan to feature some in the future that relate classic literature to modern texts.
