Kindergarten, Pre-K, Reading Recovery, Literacy Specialist/Coach, Grades 1 and 2 Reading/Literacy
I believe that "teaching" means meeting each child where he/she is at, recognizing each as a unique learner... supporting, scaffolding, and challenging each child according to how he/she learns best. I believe in balanced literacy, instructional differentiation, integration of technology, and teaching methods that promote higher level thinking for my students. I believe the key element that must tie this all together is FUN... thus, everyday is an adventure in my classroom! :)
