TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since I have been learning. Officially I have taught Algebra, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Robotics, Pre-Engineering, Math Strategies, and Sixth Grade Math. I have also written Science Curriculum as well as the majority of the curricula that I have used as a teacher for the past seven years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Learning should be fun. Students need to struggle through problems in order to become creative thinkers. This looks different each day of teaching and with each different classroom. My goal is to share resources that I have created that work in my classroom.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Through an interesting series of events I decided that I wanted to give a few years in the classroom a go. After testing it out, I fell in love. The problem is that my mind is still built like an engineer. I have since been working to Engineer Education. I have meshed my skills as an engineer and my passion for teaching to create a teaching style that I call "Engineering Education."
