TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fourth year teaching at a public high school in North Carolina. I have taught everything from Strategic Reading and Writing to Honors English III and everything in between. Beyond school, I'm a coach and advisor...so I understand the time crunch we all experience weekly!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in integrating many different styles into the classroom. There is never one learner, so there shouldn't be one teaching style. I do individual work, small groups, large groups, class discussion, silent rotations, and more!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Each school year since 2015: "Exceeded Growth" via EVASS data Surviving high school on a daily basis!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my undergraduate degree in AYA Integrated Language Arts Education from Miami University (Ohio, not Florida) and my minor in English Literature. I am currently working on my Master's in Education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I believe that the best resources are those that are the easiest to use and understand. We all know teachers are pressed for time, so I design these products with the idea that they are "print and go" ready. I hope you find something that is helpful in your own classroom!
