TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 17 years of experience teaching Secondary English. I began teaching in England but moved to Australia and have taught English and Literature here for 15 years. I am on council for the English Teachers' Association of WA (ETAWA) and have been a WACE marker for several years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am usually described as being creative and I aim to enjoy the lessons I deliver. I aim to teach and treat each student as an individual and I avoid the 'one size fits all' mentality within my classroom.

I have a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in English studies from the UK along with a post grad Diploma of teaching. I am currently studying a Masters in teaching.
