I currently teach Freshmen English, ESOL, and Honors English IV. I have significant experience working with at-risk and socioeconomically disadvantaged youth, and as a leader in developing a school-wide ELA curriculum based on the new Common Core standards. I was invited to present my work on family and community education engagement strategies at the Greater Boston All Corps Conference (fall 2011).
Energetic!! There is so much energy in my classroom! I have a rigorous classroom with high expectations of all of my students.
