TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience with co-teaching projects with science and social students teachers in urban, rural, and suburban schools. Since 2011, I have pioneered an American Studies class (combination of English and American history), Global Studies class (combination of English and world history), PhysiComp class (combination of physics and composition), and Project Management (combination of English and project managment).When English lessons and units are juxtaposed with other subjects, there are broader curricular conversations. Often,technology has been integrated into curriculum, supplementing class discussions and developing students’ inquiry, critical thinking, and research skills.
