I've been teaching high school for 15 years. I've taught 8th-12th grades. Expertise in 11th grade American Literature with extensive experience in teaching British Lit and World Lit. I also teach public speaking.

I've been on countless committees in my 15 year tenure: accreditation team, standardized testing committee, the teacher evaluation committee, Language Arts Department head, SAT/ACT tutor, etc. As the Language Arts Department head I spearheaded a school-wide writing initiative that improved our school's writing scores more than any other school in our district.
