TEACHING EXPERIENCE

High school English teacher for 6 years. I teach 9-12th grade and absolutely love it! I love everything English - literature, close reading, and writing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I want my kids to have ownership when it comes to learning. My job is to guide them towards where they need to be and give them every tool they need to be successful. However, they need to own their own learning through engagement, otherwise they get bored and don't truly seem to learn.
