TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Miss Puuri (also known as Jacqueline or Jackie) is the founder of Enlightened Corner. She is a teacher, learning coach, blogger, writer and positive thinker. I have my bachelor's in Elementary Education and my master's in Early Childhood. I have extension training in literacy intervention. For two years I was a reading interventionist for kindergarten. I have also taught young 5s for 2 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Miss Puuri is all about simplistic approaches to teaching. Keep activities fun yet simple. The goal of all activities is to teach students new things - not get them lost in a complicated, overstimulating activity. As a teacher, she is passionate about growth mindset, Reggio Emilia, mindfulness, inquiry based learning, play based learning, hands-on experiences, etc.
