I have recently retired as District Science Adviser to the Education Board's 600 schools (Auckland, New Zealand). I have 7 years elementary school teaching experience and 30 years of experience as a science advisor. I have produced a series of Daytime Astronomy activities for grades 1 - 8. Arising from these activities I developed Pipehenge and associated teaching aids. Pipehenge is an astronomical observatory, and doubles as a childs climbing frame (google it!).
