I have been a teacher for 15 years and in education for 21. My experience ranges from being a school secretary, paraprofessional, and teacher. I have taught general education and all areas of special education. I currently teach students with intellectual disabilities.
I believe are children can learn no matter what external factors affect their cognitive abilities or economic status. Staying positive is key to being a successful teacher. Students need teachers to care for them as a whole child. My teaching style includes a multi-sensory approach.
