TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a high school biology and earth space science teacher for over a decade. I have experience teaching honors, regular, and co-taught learning support classes. I have written multiple curricula, including a course specifically designed to help students who struggle with the biology standardized test for our state. I also created a large number of review materials for the Biology Keystone Exam, which are linked on a large number of school district websites throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe students need a mix of hands-on materials and more direct instruction. All students benefit from material being presented in a variety of ways.
