TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently in my 10th year of teaching special education. 8 years teaching special education pre-k in a self-contained setting. 1 year teaching a split pre-k/k/1st grade self-contained, and currently I'm teaching pre-k and kindergarten special education with push in services.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Differentiated instruction is incredibly important for the little guys I work with. Each one is essentially at a different skill level. I utilize picture prompts and supports, task systems, visual schedules, one on one discrete trials, etc.
