I am starting my 6th year teaching special education pre-school. I have taught mostly students with autism and other severe disabilities for the last three years.
Differentiated instruction is incredibly important for the little guys I work with. Each one is essentially at a different skill level. I utilize picture prompts and supports, task systems, visual schedules, one on one discrete trials, etc.
