TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught middle school for ten years and worked as a curriculum writer since 2000 when my first book of plays, 25 Mini-Plays for World History, was published by Scholastic. I've worked for Teachers' Curriculum Institute writing lesson plans, assessment, and textbooks, and written articles and books for publishers such as Great Source and Zaner Bloser.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy finding new ways of teaching the standards. If there is a way to get the students involved actively, I try to do it---even in subjects like grammar and writing.
