TEACHING EXPERIENCE

At the beginning of my teaching career, I taught PreK for 2 years, and I was a Title 1 interventionist for a year after. However, for the past 9 years I have taught fourth grade in both South Mississippi and Texas.

Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004. Master's in Instructional Design and Development from the University of South Alabama. Graduated in 2014.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, I grew up in suburban Atlanta. After graduating from the University of Georgia (UGA), I moved to Austin, Texas, for some life experience, where I met my husband. I moved to South Mississippi in 2006 when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I married my husband in 2008, and we welcomed our daughter in 2011. We also have an adorable Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog named Wally. After completing my graduate degree from the University of South Alabama (USA) during the summer of 2014, we moved back to the Austin area.
