Being a computer teacher, I would have to say that nearly 90% of my teaching is hands-on for my students. I believe that they learn much faster and more thoroughly by having the chance to try it themselves and learn from their successes and mistakes. I also encourage peer assistance in my classroom - students make wonderful teachers too!
