I love the work I get to do everyday. I can't think of many careers that offer unsolicited hugs on a daily basis as a perk. Recently, I had a very small girl give me a great big hug. When I told her to have a great day, she took her tiny finger, touched my cheek, and said, "And you have a great day too!" I eat that up!! I also had a generally hyper and energetic little boy come up to me during a lesson where I was showing a video. He leans in to whisper in my ear, "Thank you for showing us this video" and hurries back to his seat. So cute! These are the bucket fillers of my day. But as all educators know, our jobs are crazy hard. Our To Do Lists are a mile long, children and their families can be complicated, policies and procedures are frustrating, and there is never enough time or energy to do it all. So...my goal on TPT is to offer a little creativity, simplicity, and efficiency. I want to have materials and resources ready to go, but I also want them to be engaging and creative. I hope you enjoy!
