I am an Elementary ESL teacher in a rural town in central Wisconsin. I work with a wide range of Spanish speaking students that are working to maintain their Spanish, while gaining English as a second language. Three years ago I traveled to Mexico for a summer where I practiced teaching English and met my now-husband. My husband and I got married a year and a half ago when I was living and teaching English in Puebla, Mexico. His is just now immigrating to the U.S. where he will soon learn English as well!!
If I wasn't the Elementary ESL teacher I think I would want to be an Elementary Art teacher! I love adding creativity to the teaching process. One of my passions is creating my own materials to teach English as a second language. At times I find it is more of a challenge to find exactly what I'm looking for so I end up creating the materials instead. I am here to share what I have created with all of you!!

I attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and graduated in 2016. I did my ESL internship abroad in Puebla, Mexico in 2015. I first taught in Puebla, Mexico upon graduation and then, a year later, moved back to Wisconsin to teach ESL to a highly populated Spanish speaking community
