I like to do this lesson around Halloween. Basically, zombies have invaded your city and you must choose 3 people out of 8 to save, all with their pros and cons. If the class is old enough, I like to get it started with the clip from The Walking

I think bullying is an important topic that needs to be talked about more, but it can sometimes be challenging to make it into an entertaining lesson. I figured what better way to do it than to frame it around the glorious 80s cheese that is “The

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello everyone! This is Bryan coming at you from the Shenzhen, China. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio USA, and I found my way into the ESL abroad game in 2009. I love it! I spent four years as a native English teacher in South Korea, and am currently working my way through China. I began here in a small agricultural village in Sichuan, and now live in one of the most modern super-cities in the world. What's next? Who knows! Anyway, my store has some of the lessons I made that I found to be particularly successful and well-liked over the last 7 years. Hope you find something useful!

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a native English teacher in Korea and especially in China, I have found that most schools employ their own people to cover the nuts and bolts of English. My job is much more to be an ambassador of Western culture, inspire interest in learning English outside the classroom, and generally keep the classes engaged and speaking English for an hour a week. Since my class sizes are usually quite large (more than 60 students!), most of my lessons are PPT/lecture style as opposed to activity oriented, but many can be adjusted for smaller classrooms without too much difficulty. Good luck!
