TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over 7 years experience working in the Special Eduction field. I started off as a paraprofessional during my undergrad days. I've worked with elementary, middle, and high school students in the mod/severe program in both county and district programs. This is my third year as a special education teacher. I currently teach a 9th-12th OI classroom in California. I just recently got the opportunity to start a 3-5 self-contained classroom at a new district. I am really excited for this new opportunity and can't wait to create a program where my students can flourish!!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I've learned over the past few years that differentiated instruction, behavior intervention, structure, and consistency is the best way to ensure student success. Each student has their own strengths and weaknesses, it is important to hone onto those strengths while working to improve their weaknesses.
