I was born and raised in Spain and moved to the US at 22. There I finished my Bachelor and Master degrees in Education. I have been teaching Foreign Languages from Kindergardeners to College students for over 25 years. I have worked as a teacher in Ecuador, the US, Germany and Spain. At present I run an English and Spanish for foreigners school in Southern Spain and I develop the great majority of the curriculum we so sucessfully use here (both in Spanish and English), and that is what I am now sharing with you!
Although I come from the field of theoretical grammar and linguistics, I truly believe in the comunicative style for teaching FL. Learning should be fun and engaging and materials developed for this purpose must be enticing and attractive, with real, easy and identifiable objectives to help teachers direct the class efficiently.

A woman of many experiences, I continue to love life! I love learning and teaching. My students have taught me ten times fold what I could possibly teach them! It is great to think that my teaching style and knowledge may help many to develop a positive and healthy relationship with the learning of a foreign language! After having moved so many times around the world, I am now trying to settle to work, live and enjoy life in Southern Spain, the very same place where I got started!
