Are the electrons really moving in circles? Bohr was unable to explain why his proposed orbits were stable. Even worse, Bohr could only explain the line spectrum of hydrogen. This PowerPoint starts with Bohr's flaws, and explores DeBroglie,

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Taught biology, chemistry, and general science in the East Ramapo Central school District, Spring Valley, NY from 1970 to 2003. Teach chemistry at the Frisch school, Paramus, NJ since 2003

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach using the smart board and power point presentations. My lessons depend heavily on questioning and student responses. Lessons generally include activities and/or demonstrations with work sheets for follow up. All of my work sheets correlated to my power point presentations, and are available free of charge on my web site: http://www.evanschemistrycorner.com .
