TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching English at the secondary level for the past ten years. I have taught remedial classes, advanced classes and everything in between. I have also taught many different SAT prep classes and tutored students for the SATs for the past five years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I adopt a multiple intelligences approach to education. My classroom incorporates discussion, collaborative groups, and individual learning opportunities. My lesson plans and materials appeal to students of all different learning styles and strengths and are tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Millersville University for my undergraduate degree in English Education, and I earned a Master's Degree from McDaniel College in Curriculum Development and Instruction.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Outside of the classroom, I coach two varsity sports: Volleyball and Lacrosse, but my most favorite pastime in the whole world is playing with my two-year old son. He is my happy place and the reason why I do all I do!
