TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! I'm Jennifer of everything just so. In twelve years of teaching, I have spent most of my time in third and sixth grades.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a big believer in balanced literacy and follow the workshop approach for reading and writing. I try to limit whole group instruction and allow students to experience learning individually and in small groups. In lesson and unit planning, I follow a backward design approach using the Understanding by Design method.
