By Expeditions in Empathy 
By Expeditions in Empathy Heather Olvey has experience in teaching grades 7, 8, 11, and 12. Terri Files has college teaching experience, as well as grades K, 7, 8 and 9.
Both Heather and Terri attempt to create experiences for our students that they will remember. We work together to create cross-curricular opportunities to get our students thinking bigger and broader. We often use Young Adult Literature to bridge the classes as well as to capture student interest.
Together we are recipients of the Teachers Pay Teachers Teach For Justice grant.
Heather Olvey has a bachelor's degree in English, and a Master's in Secondary Education to teach ELA. Terri Files has a BSE in early childhood elementary education, a MS in college student personnel and services, and a 7-12 history certification.
Currently Heather and Terri teach high school in Little Rock, Arkansas.
