Express Readers

I taught for about 15 years, but I wanted to be a teacher as long as I can remember. It's in my heart and soul. I taught at a private school, multiple public schools, a charter public school, and a catholic school. I taught grades PK-2nd, spending the majority in Kinder.

This completely depends on my students, but I have always loved teaching centers. Centers allow me to be creative, spend more time with individual students, diversify curriculum for each student's needs, and tap into the multiple learning styles that are inevitably in one class.

It takes an immense amount of work to be a teacher, but in my career, I never felt as though teaching was work. I often felt exhausted and slightly overwhelmed at the end of the day, but I always felt honored to be a part of my kiddo's worlds and excited to find new ways to reach them!
