TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Brian is a special education teacher who specializes in behavior. He has worked with a broad range of students with a broad range of academic, emotional, and cognitive needs and abilities. As a result, he has many skills and abilities that he offers to support students and his peers. Brian was diagnosed with Non-verbal Learning Disorder (NLD) in the late '90s. When Aspergers was rolled into Autism Spectrum Disorder, so was NLD, which is also a developmental delay. As a result, Brian has a great understanding for students who struggle in learning academically, emotionally, and socially.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Brian's style would be best described as adaptive. Depending on the needs of the student, his approach changes. That being said, his love and compassion for his students shapes the way he approaches his teaching.
