I have been teaching in the French Immersion program in Alberta for 6 years now and I have taught French Language Arts as well as Social Studies from grade 5-9.
I prefer to teach grammar by starting with notes, repetition exercises, writing activities, oral activities and then two types of assessment, stories and a small quiz. I believe that by practicing and assessing in a variety of ways all students have the chance to master the grammar topic.
I was nominated for the Edwin Parr award which is a Excellence in Teaching award for first year teachers.
I am a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with my B.Ed and my B.A in French.
