TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for 10 years now, which includes 6 years of Title I experience. I've been a part of curriculum planning at the district and school level. I've been a part of demonstration teams and opened my room for any one wanting to visit (we called it the fish bowl, not sure what it's really known as).

MY TEACHING STYLE

Targeting students needs any way possible. I tend to follow more of a workshop style and go with the flow of my students' needs.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Working on that! I think I'm still trying to figure out how to be a good teacher.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

• B.S. in Elementary Education at University of South Florida • M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction at University of South Florida • Certification in Elementary Education and ESOL
