I am a speech-language pathologist and work in a private facility providing speech-language services to children ages birth to five. When I'm not spending my days immersed in speech-language goal targets, I'm provided pediatric dysphagia treatment to children birth to five. I work at one of the few private facilities providing pediatric speech therapy services within a 50 mile radius. Thus, my caseload is very diverse, allowing for my days to be unpredictable and requiring a range of knowledge on many areas within our profession.
I frequently use visuals for cueing throughout therapy. You'll find I have a love for low-tech AAC and all things laminated!
