Have you ever got the call on Friday, the job starts Monday.....full class schedule, multiple grades, no repeat classes. You want to be prepared, ready to go , organized and not exhausted because you've been pulling all nighters preparing class materials. I've gotten that call, a few times. In the teaching environment I work in where contracts are scarce, I always take the job. It's a deep end learn to swim environment and like my time in the hospitality industry it's a lot of on the job learning. From that experience I bring you my power points, worksheets and tests. On your journey in teaching I hope I can help you when your looking for resources to build your program, take it in a fresh direction or to support what you have in place.
Problem Solver!! I have students who don't read well = scaffolded notes, games and picture rich power points. I have students who just want to hang out with friends = escape room games. I have students who don't want to do any work, and just eat food = I have individual research booklets to help keep them accountable for their own learning. I have students who find new vocabulary and definitions challenging = word searches, crosswords and word scrambles with their friends.
It is my honour to make resources that are valuable to your classroom. That help you build a program and relationships with your students. A curriculum based program that means taking on that lunch duty or starting that club won't get put on the back burner or throw you for a loop. To come along side you and support you in your teaching journey would be my honor.

I've struggled with students who don't want to be in my class. Who have just been placed there to try to get them a credit when they are unsuccesful in other courses. I find information needs to be chunked, be very pictoral, hands on and with a very clear reason why this activity is being done. What I have created are power points with worksheets, activities, video links, and tests to work in these special classroom environments. We all struggle with finding the hours in the day we need to bring rich and engaging curriculum to students. Especially when lunch duties or club responsibilities grow. I create worksheets, tests, flip books and power points for the FCS, Foods and Culinary high school and middle school classroom. I hope what I have created helps you find a few more hours in your day.
