I am a fourth grade teacher in Keeseville, NY. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I was a migrant education professional.
I fully believe in experiential learning. I feel the students benefit the most from a hands-on approach. As I incorporate the Common Core Standards into my curriculum and utilize the modules as a point of inspiration, I try to shift from teacher-centered instruction to student-centered learning.

I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees from SUNY Potsdam in northern New York with a concentration in early childhood education and Spanish.
I am originally from Syracuse, NY and now I live with my family in Plattsburgh, NY.
