TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 7 years and have taught grades four, five and six, as well as French as a Second Language in each of those grades.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I've found that I really enjoy a Project Based Learning approach to teaching. There are still many situations where I am up in front of the class giving the students information, but I really like giving them opportunities to apply that information, and expand on that information through realistic situations.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I used to run and got many awards from that, do they count?

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor of Education from University of Alberta

I like to keep myself organized and on top of this so I can spend my time enjoying things rather than racing to get things done.
