My son has become very dependent on visual schedules. I am not always able to find the ones that I need already created. As I create new ones to use with my boys, I will load them on here. These print well in grayscale, but the color helps my son.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught grades Pre-K-3 ELL in a one classroom setting, 4th grade, 2nd grade, kindergarten, and Pre-K. I moved to 5th grade in 2015. Then, in 2016, I was moved to teach at our Upper School with grades 7-12. I love my job and love to research new ideas and activities to use in my classroom. I am now entering a new adventure of leading the homeschool umbrella for our school and homeschooling my boys.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love technology. I am a very strict teacher, but also one who likes to have fun. I am very OCD and like things in their respective places. I use flipcharts, music, and other various technology daily. I love to bring lots of technology and interactive journals to the table.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been made the IT director at my school and chair of our accreditation committee.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a B.S. in Multidisciplinary studies from Tennessee Technological University. I have started my MS in three different areas and cannot decide which to finish. I am a forever student.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a foster/adoptive parent, proud mother of 3 special needs boys, and am getting ready to embark on a new adventure of homeschooling!!
