TEACHING EXPERIENCE

AP English Literature and Composisition, Grade 10, 11, 12 High School English Teacher, African Heritage English Lit. Teacher

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a relaxed teaching style that is focused on connecting the curriculum with the everyday lives of my students. From the decisions and choices they make to the pop culture which shapes them i try to bring my teaching 360 degrees and stay relevant to personal and social implications in and outside the classroom. My classroom is situated into groups and we work collaboratively at every opportunity. I find it provides a pulse to the course and my teaching.
