Rachel Reyna is owner of Reyna Education, Inc. and co-owner of Fisher Reyna Education. She has worked with Fisher Education, Inc. for eighteen years. Her services include K-5 training in reading, writing, math, strategic school-wide planning and classroom assistance to improve student performance on state assessments. Ms. Reyna works with ELAR alignment for elementary, middle school, and high school. She has 11 years of classroom teaching experience, 20 years of coaching teachers in the classroom and providing workshops, and has also served as a school curriculum coordinator. In 2001 she founded Reyna Education, Inc. and has been independently contracted to assist in the publication of a number of educational projects. She and her business partner, Lois Fisher, have developed software with visual animations to teach reading comprehension strategies. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1996 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English at Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas in 1991. She is certified in Elementary Education Grades 1-8. Lois Fisher is owner of Fisher Education, Inc. and co-owner of Fisher Reyna Education. She offers an array of services including books and software in English and Spanish, K-5 teacher training, and classroom assistance to improve student scores on reading, writing, and math test. She and her business partner, Rachel Reyna, have developed software with visual animations to teach reading comprehension strategies. Mrs. Fisher has served as training consultant to state departments of education, school districts, and corporations. She served as an instructional supervisor for middle schools, director of staff development, and district coordinator for Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS). Earlier in her career, she served as teacher and principal before becoming supervisor of special education and assistant superintendent for federal programs and instruction and curriculum. Her experience included regular and special education instruction in grades K-12 and undergraduate education courses at the college level. She earned a MS in elementary education at the University of Arkansas and a BS in elementary education at South Arkansas University. Mrs. Fisher has given hundreds of presentations to educational organizations. She has been described by participants as very factual, informative, and resourceful.
