TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my 6th year of teaching. I have 1 year of middle school health and 4 years of physical education at the elementary level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very energetic and use that energy to motivate and inspire my students to be physically active. I teach physical literacy. The way that learning to read can open up new worlds for children, developing psychomotor skills can create more opportunities for children to be physically active throughout their life.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

In May of 2015, I received the City Schools of Decatur Extra Mile Award.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

2010- Bachelor's in Physical Education from Georgia State University 2015- Master's in Adapted Physical Education from Western Michigan

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love exercise. I run, jump rope and lift weights. I also love to spend time with my beautiful wife and son.
