TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked in classrooms 1st-5th grade with a variety of needs and abilities. I have also spent several years in a pre-K setting.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love hands-on and center based learning. I believe students succeed when learning is meaningful and focuses on their interests.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Graduated with high honors and was selected as a Professor's Honor Roll student several semesters during my university experience.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated from Weber State University December 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Child Development.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I completed my education in Utah while raising a family of 4 children. It has not been an easy task, but has been well worth it. I have always had a strong desire to become a teacher. I love to be creative (paint furniture, create lesson plans, make homemade cards and gifts, etc...), spend time outdoors (camping, hiking, etc...), and spend time with family and friends. I couldn't have completed my education without their support.
