I have worked in nutrition education for nine years as a coach, counselor, researcher, worksite wellness presenter and coordinator, and program curriculum developer. I have conducted nutrition education sessions at elementary schools assemblies and youth group meetings, and worked as a teaching assistant and a substitute teacher in the collegiate setting.
I like to engage my learners in hands-on problem solving activities. I challenge learners to assess their own lives for places to make positive change and help them develop a plan to do so for long-term success.
