MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

BA in Elementary Education MA in Mathematics Education

There's a special place in my heart for the students and teachers at the Lifeway Christian Academies in Lusaka, Zambia. I love being part of the Teach ONE project in the summers where American teachers spend 2 weeks mentoring a Zambian teacher at schools in the poverty-stricken compounds of that city. I have never met teachers who were more willing to learn and implement new strategies or students who love school and the opportunity to learn more than these beautiful children do. Sharing my love for learning there is one of the best parts of my year!
