TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Pre-K to 8 general music and choral music, in an urban school system, for 9 years. Taught a course in Music Education at a State University. Voice, Piano, Guitar Teacher at a Private Studio for 6 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in real world education. I teach my students what they need to know of be able to LOVE music, and LOVE learning and have the skills and drive to continue to pursue this passion in the life after they leave my class.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Conversation I overheard by two 5th grade student headed to my room: "Music class is so cool! I wish we had it every day." To me, that is the biggest honor of all.
