TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for Walled Lake Schools for 28 years and have specialized in teaching children ages 4-8. This year marks my 25th year in Room 209!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My educational background is quite varied. I have a B.S. in Communications from Emerson College in Boston. I worked in the news business for a short stint. Then I attended Madonna University to obtain my teaching certificate. In 1993, I completed my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University. I am also continuously updating my training and am trained in Conscious Discipline and the Leader in Me. I have also explored educational leadership courses and this summer I attended the Everyday Math Trainer Institute at the University of Chicago. I enjoy working on various school committees and am a trainer of teachers.
