Deerfield Elementary School, Deerfield New York
I am a creative teacher who tries to meet the needs of every student in my class. It's the littlest ones who inspire me the most. I tend to change my teaching practices based on the new things I learn from them on a daily basis. "A person's a person, no matter how small"-Dr. Seuss

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and then went on to earn my Master's Degree from Utica College in Elementary Education. I am New York State Certified to teach Kindergarten - Sixth grade.
I am entering my fifth year of teaching first grade and I love every second of it. I find myself looking forward to waking up every day and spending my day with 6 and 7 year olds. Okay, maybe not the 'waking up' part, but I truly find myself nothing but happy when I am in my classroom and watching my students' eyes glow during a lesson (well.. most lessons!). I also never have a dull moment in my classroom. I will hopefully have my blog up and running soon and you will be able to read about all the funny, depressing, and sweet things that happen in my classroom!
