TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught middle school for five years in The Bronx, N.Y. I am certified in Social Studies, Special Ed, and English, and I have also taught Math. My true passion is Social Studies, and I have therefore spent most of my time as a History teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to plan interactive lessons and, whenever possible, to teach history in the form of stories. I attempt to appeal to different types of learners, so I include a variety of visuals, auditory aids, and reading and writing activities into each of my units.
