I am currently a Core French teacher at a public elementary school. I have 12 years experience teaching FSL to the primary, junior and intermediate grades. I have also taught as a primary and intermediate French Immersion teacher.
I strive to have an organized and interactive FSL classroom where my students feel confident in their abilities to participate in our daily activities. By using authentic activities that relate to their day to day lives I keep their learning of French real and engaging.
I received the University Prize in French for my undergraduate degree and graduated with honours for my Bachelor of Education.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at Bishop's University in Québec Canada. I spent one year on a university exchange to the Université de Montréal in my final year of my degree. I studied French, Spanish and Music. I completed my Bachelor of Education at Western University in London, Canada.
I love to travel with my family. I have two young children who are my pride and joy. As a teacher, I love to think about new and exciting activities or competitive games to use in my FSL classroom to engage my students. I hope you find my ideas stimulating for your students.
