TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught French for 23+ years at the same high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I've gone from a grammar/vocabulary type teacher to a TPRS teacher and now I've settled on a mix of what works for me - lots of CI with a little bit of grammar/vocabulary here and there.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Nobody ever notices the French teacher to give them awards for anything! My students, my family and my mom like me - is that enough? Oh, and my beer league hockey team won the championship several years ago.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

ASU - BA in Russian ASU - MEd in Secondary Ed TONS of technological training on Adobe products, Wordpress, HTML, and other things
