TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a school psychologist and work with a variety of at-risk and special needs children. I make sure my products will address the needs of EC students, even when they are in regular education settings. My products feature easy-to-read fonts, uncluttered visual backgrounds, hands-on activities, differentiated content, and visual directions when possible. Many of my products were developed for teachers I work with, so I will be happy to develop something for you if you have a specific objective or concept in mind. Just e-mail me at heather_ayers@hotmail.com with your request.

I have a B.A. in English and Psychology from UNC-Wilmington, and an M.A./C.A.S in School Psychology from Appalachian State University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a sweet little boy with mild special needs, and my husband and I are now in the process of adopting a little girl from Nepal! We are very excited about having a new edition to our family. We are also very grateful for the extra income from TpT, as it offsets our adoption costs as well as the costs from our son's developmental therapies. Thank you so much for your time and support!
