I have been fortunate to have worked in a number of different settings, with most of my experience working in special education schools for students with severe special needs and nonpublic schools. This wide range of experiences has helped me adapt to MANY different circumstances to best serve my students.
I wouldn't necessarily say I have a specific "teaching style". However, a reoccurring theme would have to be having FUN! (Hence the name, Fun In Speech :D ) I like to integrate target concepts into games or interactive activities that engage the students and incorporate a more hands-on learning environment. Getting a sufficient amount of data and teaching time doesn't have to be a drag!
Yet to be added
I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. I am a state licensed SLP in the state of Pennsylvania and I am proud to uphold the standards and code of ethics to maintain my certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
